E.M.P.B.C was established in 1951,
and currently has groups with joint membership of, Electra
& OMRA.
Members sail, scale, power, steam & electric models. Competitions
include, Steering, Fast Electric, including club
500,
Z to D class OMRA.
Our prime activity is an informal gathering of like
minded people, "playing" with semi-scale models.
We meet at Princes
Park lake Eastbourne, which allows
almost unrestricted i/c, steam & electric sailing. We share this public lake
with Eastbourne
model Yacht Club, water sport training
& swans. Members are normally at the lake Wednesday's & Sundays &
also use The Common Pond
Hailsham, for low powered craft by
arrangement.
A monthly club meeting is held on the
2nd Wednesday of the month , 8pm, at St
Lukes Church Hall Eastbourne.
Princes Park facilities are being overseen
by The
Friends Of Princes Park.

World Record attempt with HMS
Norfolk F230 Duke Class Frigate that is 9 feet 3 inches long.
With this model Graham is attempting a World Long Distance Record on 21st and 22nd
June 2013
The venue is the River Waveney between Waveney River Centre
and Beccles,
the root is over 6.1 miles each
way & HMS Norfolk, will battle against TIDE and CURRENT for 24hrs
